Study visit of the Lower Silesia province representatives in Graz

The study visit’s purpose was to exchange experience in the field of the development of rural areas, farming, agritourism, etc. The visitors could learn more about Styrian Chamber of Agriculture its structure and the pursued projects. They were also invited to the Institute for Ruther Education in Rural Areas Styria (LFI Styria) which predominantly deals with the education and training of the adults. The hosts also presented family farms whose main occupations are animal husbandry, crop and processing of grapes and pumpkins as well as agritourism. The knowledge and experience gained during the visit may help Lower Silesia to face new challenges and gives the region the chance for the development of international cooperation.
