Summer School in Karpacz
Summer School in Karpacz (8th-9th September 2010) made part of ‘P4G Partnership for Good’ project. The visitors from partner regions and the representatives of The Marshal’s Office of Lower Silesian Voivodeship (Region) participated in the event.
Partner regions were represented by Mr Victor Serpokrilhov, Deputy Chairman of Circuit State Administratio, Kirovohrad Circuit (Ukraine) and Ms Eva Zöberer – Brandner from the region of Styria (Austria). On behalf of the Marshal’s Office acted the Director, Ms Agnieszka Marchewka, the Director of International Relations Department, Ms Teresa Lis-Pieńkowska and the Director of Legal Department, Mr Janusz Misiewicz. Among other participants were Mr Marek Tomala, the Member of Regional Parliament and Mr Ryszard Rzepczyński, the Deputy Mayor of Karpacz.
The purpose of the two-day meeting was to highlight the competences of the Voivodeship’s Self-Government and financial management including financial management in partner regions. Summer School’s objective was also to advertise Lower Silesia, its tourist spots, institutions and legal issues.
We hope Summer School helped the participants to better understand the functioning of partner regions and will serve as a future basis for joint action within regional partnerships, latter being main purpose of ‘P4G – Partnership for Good’.
